What is the Webwall?
The Webwall is a unique E-messaging service that allows you to leave lifetime messages to friends and loved ones. Each message placed cements another virtual brick in the Webwall and represents a donation made to vulnerable people in need of ongoing care.
How does the Webwall work?
Simply click on the ‘Count me In’ button and you will be transported to a page that allows you to leave a message for a friend or loved one, either living or departed. By making a donation of your choice you may leave a lifetime message to your special person for the world to see. Webwall will generate an automatic e-mail to your special person informing them that you have left them a lifetime message on the Webwall and link them to the message. Their name and your message will remain engraved on the Webwall for life.
What is the goal of the Webwall campaign?
The goal of the Webwall campaign is to cement 100,000 virtual bricks in the Webwall by way of donations. The funds raised will be used to establish a new Resource and Brain Injury Consultancy centre for Headway Thames Valley.
What is Headway?
Headway Thames Valley is a charity which supports people with brain injuries. For more information about Headway Thames Valley click here
Why is the new Resource Centre needed?
The site housing the existing Resource Centre situated in Townslands Hospital, Henley-on-Thames, is being redeveloped and the present building demolished.
How much money is needed for a new building?
Our current estimate is £750,000.
Will my message make a difference?
Just as each individual brick in a real wall helps ensure that the wall will stand firm and strong, each individual message helps ensure that a vulnerable group of people will always have the support and treatment vital to their wellbeing. Without Headway these people will have nowhere to go for ongoing support and therapy.
Headway has provided the foundation; your donation helps to provide the bricks, making you an integral part of the success of this unique project.
Headway Thames Valley invites you to join us in our effort to build this very necessary resource centre one brick at a time.
